New ro-pax design contract for Deltamarin
Deltamarin Ltd has signed a contract with Chinese Guangzhou Shipyard International Co, Ltd (GSI) for consultancy and engineering services for the DFDS ro-pax ferries. This order supports Deltamarin’s strategy to further strengthen our position in the passenger vessel segment.

The Smart Propulsion System (abbreviated to “smartPS”) project is a common undertaking of seven different partners from three European counties.
Major engineering and construction support contracts for Deltamarin
Deltamarin has signed contracts with the Chinese Xiamen Shipbuilding Industry Co., Ltd for engineering and construction support services for the Viking Line LNG-fuelled ro-pax vessel newbuilding. The contracts cover basic and detail design as well as comprehensive project management support and supervision services to the shipyard during vessel construction.

Deltamarin’s bulker design for HBC wins Energy Efficiency Award at Nor-Shipping
Deltamarin congratulates Hamburg Bulk Carriers (HBC) for winning the Energy Efficiency Award at this year’s Nor-Shipping. Their winning ship, the Venture Joy bulk carrier, is based on Deltamarin’s B.Delta43 design. It is the sixth vessel in the series of 43,500 dwt geared handysize bulk carriers delivered to HBC from the Chinese Qingshan Shipyard.
Deltamarin container vessel design to be built in China
Deltamarin’s energy-efficient cargo ship family reached yet another milestone as Icelandic Eimskip Ltd and Greenland-based Royal Arctic Line A/S ordered the first three container vessels based on Deltamarin’s design. The ships will be built at the Guangzhou Wenchong Shipyard in China, with which Deltamarin (China) Co., Ltd has signed a design contract.

Deltamarin is proud to have had its designs shortlisted for Nor-Shipping awards at three consecutive exhibitions. This year Hamburg Bulk Carriers’ Venture Joy is shortlisted as one of the nominees for the Energy Efficiency Award. The vessel is based on Deltamarin’s B.Delta43 design.
