Deltamarin and GTT have received Approval in Principle (AiP) from the classification society American Bureau of Shipping (ABS) for the LNG fueled Aframax tanker design using Membrane tank technology. The AiP was received at the Gastech 2021 exhibition in Dubai.
With the decarbonization of maritime industry, comes new legislation. Shipping decarbonisation is a combination of smart operations, efficient ship design and low-carbon fuels. Deltamarin’s new design tools enable to gain control of all of these pieces in the shipping decarbonisation puzzle.
Deltamarin will take a step towards strengthening its offering in tanker (oil, chemicals and LNG) design development. We will develop new-generation products with high emphasis on safety, optimal performance and low carbon footprint. To support achieving these goals, Deltamarin has recruited Mr Mauri Harki to lead the new customer process for the tanker segment.
