Deltamarin has signed a design contract with China Merchants Jinling shipyard (Weihai) for the complete basic and detail design of a new RoPax vessel. The new RoPax is the 13th vessel in the Stena RoRo’s E-Flexer series and is the first to be delivered to the Mediterranean region.
Deltamarin collaborates with Louis Dreyfus Armateurs and Wuchang Shipbuilding Industry Group to design three eco-friendly vessels tailored for Airbus aircraft subassembly transportation. With a targeted 50% reduction in CO2 emissions by 2030, this innovative fleet, powered by a blend of Flettner rotors and dual-fuel engines, represents a vital step toward sustainable transatlantic shipping.
