Deltamarin & BARTech make hull collaboration announcement

Deltamarin and BAR Technologies are once again partnering to lead the way in wind propulsion innovation with new build design, Aframax/LRII. The new optimised hull design is capable of harnessing wind power for 15% improvement against current fleet.

Deltamarin and GTT receive approval in principle from ClassNK for a LNG fueled VLCC design

Deltamarin and GTT have received Approval in Principle (AiP) from the classification society ClassNK for the 12,500 m3 LNG dual fuel VLCC design. The AiP was received from NK 1st March 2023.

A project involving Deltamarin gets go-ahead to use carbon capture on oil tanker pilot to decarbonize shipping

A consortium of global shipping organizations and the Oil and Gas Climate Initiative (OGCI) have received approval in principle from the American Bureau of Shipping (ABS), the US ship certification agency, to use a carbon capture system onboard an oil tanker.
