Project Features
- Designed to handle very challenging ice conditions on the intended route, where shallow seas can freeze almost to the bottom. Significant effort was devoted to determining the required propulsion power for both winter and summer conditions, and to developing a fuel-efficient engine and propulsion concept suitable for all seasons.
- Deltamarin provided reliable support and partnership throughout a challenging development task, with multiple revisions of the concept based on customer input and the need to adapt the vessel for the intended route
