Scope of Work for the Shipyard

Complete basic and detail design of the ship's bow, including:

  • Hull design, encompassing modeling with TRIBON Hull, 3D assembly drawings, plate and profile part lists, nesting and burning files, bending information with jigs for plates and profiles, and calculations for weight and center of gravity for each block
  • Machinery design for the purifier, AC compressor, pump and sewage rooms, as well as the tank area, bow thruster room and forepeak. The entire machinery design was carried out using 3D modeling with Cadmatic and Tribon design tools.
  • Outfitting, Interior and HVAC design for designated crew, passenger and public areas
  • The design of eight AC rooms, which was completed using 3D modeling with Microstation as the design tool
  • Electrical design, including comprehensive documentation such as installation guides, equipment arrangement drawings, power distribution plans, cabling and connection details and cable lists for various systems

Project Features

  • The work was carried out for Litton Ingalls Shipyard in Mississippi, USA, while the ship was ultimately delivered from Lloyd Werft in Germany
  • This extensive project spanned more than two years from start to finish
