Deltamarin and GTT have received Approval in Principle (AIP) from ABS for their dual-fuel Newcastlemax bulk carrier design, which integrates LNG-fuelled technology with GTT membrane tanks to meet stringent environmental standards while maximizing cargo capacity.

Deltamarin secures a contract with Rauma Marine Constructions to design Tallink’s new LNG-powered shuttle ferry, enhancing its role as a leading designer of ro-pax vessels. The ferry will be one of the largest and most environmentally-friendly vessels built by RMC.

Esa Jokioinen (M.Sc.) returns to Deltamarin in the role of Director of Sales and Marketing. Esa has previously worked at Deltamarin for ten years in various roles.

Deltamarin played a key role in the design and engineering of Boka Vanguard and Pioneering Spirit, which recently set new standards in offshore heavy transport and installation, including the transport and installation of Equinor’s Johan Sverdrup processing platform.
