Scope of Work for the Shipowner

• Design of strengthening the mooring system foundations in turret and vessel hull to accommodate upgraded mooring lines
• Strength and fatigue analyses, including design loads development and fatigue analysis procedure
• Naval architectural design required for the reinstallment project
• Technical support during work execution at the yard

Project Features

• The vessel experienced multiple mooring line breaks during a severe North Sea storm in 2011. Deltamarin provided technical support throughout the reinstallment project, including the development of strengthening concepts, basic design and work execution at the yard.
