Scope of Work for the Shipyard
- Basic design for ship theory, strenGTh calculations (FEA), structural, outfitting, interior design, machinery and HVAC and electrical design
- Aveva 3D software was used for structural design, while all other documentation was prepared in 2D

- The Polar Class (PC3) Heavy Transport Sister Ships, Audax and Pugnax, are the only vessels in the world capable of navigating unescorted, year-round above the Arctic Circle
- The vessels have been designed and constructed to safely transport module cargoes weighing up to 20,000 tonnes
