Project Features
- Larsen & Toubro Sapura Crest JV requested Ulstein Sea of Solutions to develop a basic design for a new moored heavy-lift crane and pipelay vessel. Deltamarin worked as a subcontractor to Ulstein Sea of Solutions.
- The vessel is equipped with Amclyde’s ‘PC-42 HVY’ fully revolving main crane, which has a maximum lift capacity of 3,000 ST. The crane features an 82-meter-long boom, and the main hook is capable of lifting 3,000 ST at a 27-meter radius.
- To accommodate a wide range of pipe lay operations, the vessel is fitted with a pipe Lay system for subsea pipes with diameters ranging from 6 to 60 inches, along with two tensioners, each with a 100 MT capacity
- The LTS3000 is equipped with a 10-point mooring system, consisting of 6 forward anchors and 4 aft anchors. The mooring system includes both remote and local control systems.
