Scope of Work for the Shipowner
- Basic design covering naval architecture, structural design including strength calculations and FEA (Finite Element Analysis), deck outfitting and arrangements and partially integrated mission equipment arrangements
- Design of marine systems (PID), ventilation and arrangements, technical equipment specifications for main equipment, accommodation and partial electrical and automation systems
- Detail engineering, including the development of a 3D AVEVA structural model with partially integrated mission equipment foundations, as well as a 3D CADMATIC mechanical model for pre-coordination
Project Features
- The vessel can lay pipes in both S-Lay and J-Lay configurations
- The vessel is equipped with a 5,000-tonne main crane
- Petrofac sold the project to Shanghai Zhenhua Industries, who eventually built the vessel with modified design
