The consortium of leading players from the energy and shipping industries will investigate onboard capture and storage, as well as offloading of captured carbon dioxide (CO2) to address the challenges and opportunities of deploying carbon capture technology on ships.

Deltamarin has signed a contract with the Estonian Transport Administration to develop a new concept for a ferry travelling between the big islands and the mainland. The concept is expected to be completed in early 2023.

Berge Bulk has selected Deltamarin to carry out the ship side basic design for installing WindWings onboard bulk carrier Berge Olympus. Building upon their previous collaboration on the vessel concept, the basic design work is direct continuation of the project.

Deltamarin has been chosen to design a new Finnish archipelago connecting vessel, set to commence operations in the summer of 2023. Finferries – Suomen Lauttaliikenne has contracted Oy HL-metal Ab to build the vessel at their facilities in Pargas, Finland.
