Feasibility study on stability, along with outline design and basic approval package, including
- Pedestals, including their integration with the vessel and overall finite element analysis (FEA)
- Stability calculations
- Visibility and outfitting drawings
- Modifications to auxiliary and electrical systems
Project Features
- Utilizes BAR Technologies' innovative wind technology, WindWings®
- Multiple partners involved, including the owner, shipyard, DNV, flag authorities, BAR Technologies and Yara Marine
- An extensive finite element analysis (FEA) package was completed on the pedestals for class approval
- The work was finalized in 2024
