The exhaust gas cleaning system (scrubber) supplied by Deltamarin Floating Construction to Bore Ltd on turnkey basis, received confirmation of full compliance with SECA and IMO regulations (Lloyd’s register and TRAFI). After the short 14 day drydocking, the open loop operation of the scrubber was in immediate use when the ship left the repair yard.
Deltamarin has launched a new showcase ro-pax vessel “DeltaChallenger”. Deltamarin’s B.Delta family has scored further success as the Vulica Shipping Co. Ltd ordered the first ever B.Delta68 SUL (Self-Unloading) vessels. The order for the two bulk carriers was placed with the Chinese Jiangsu Hantong Ship Heavy Industry Co. Ltd. The current orderbook of the B.Delta family includes 121 ships.
The Royal Institution of Naval Architects (RINA) has selected the LNG dual fuel ferry “F.-A.-Gauthier” as one of the vessels to be featured in their “Significant Ships of 2014” publication. The vessel concept has been developed by the consortium formed by Deltamarin and Navtech Inc. for the Canadian owner Société des traversiers du Québec (STQ).
The first B.Delta43 bulk carrier vessel, M/V “Venture Goal”, was successfully delivered to the German shipowner Hamburg Bulk Carriers GmbH (HBC) in January 2015. The Deltamarin design has also attracted yet another customer, as Phoenix Shipping & Trading of Greece ordered four B.Delta43 handysize bulk carriers at Qingshan Shipyard.
Deltamarin Floating Construction Ltd is glad to announce the scrubber installation delivery of Bore Song, the 25,586 GT RoRo vessel operating in the harshest weather conditions of the North Sea.
As the year 2014 draws to a close, we would like to take a quick look back. For Deltamarin this was a year of major achievements with several remarkable engineering contracts signed and totally new type of businesses starting.
Deltamarin Ltd provides Aker Arctic Technology Inc. with basic design services for two polar class heavy deck carriers. The ships are intended for carrying heavy project cargoes in large modules to Yamal LNG plant construction site on the Russian Yamal peninsula.
