Deltamarin has signed an engineering contract that includes the complete basic and detail design work for four confirmed, and up to eight optional, units of 9,350 CEU class methanol dual-fuel PCTCs ordered by Wallenius Wilhemsen. Prior to this engineering contract, Deltamarin has executed the outline and contract design of the new vessels.

Deltamarin’s PCTC and LNG carrier designs receive AiPs from DNV
On Tuesday, December 5th, three Deltamarin designs secured Approval in Principle (AiP) from the classification society DNV. The certificates were handed over to China Merchants Heavy Industry (Jiangsu), China Merchants Jinling Shipyard (Nanjing), and Deltamarin at the Marintec China exhibition in Shanghai.

Deltamarin has signed an agreement with Fujian Mawei Shipbuilding for the design and engineering of the new series of Neptune Lines PCTCs. Neptune Lines and Deltamarin have previously cooperated on developing the vessel concept, and the engineering contract is a direct continuation of the work and includes the basic and detail design of the vessels.

State-of-the-Art LNG Solutions for Long Ocean Voyages
Deltamarin together with Gaztransport & Technigaz (GTT) has studied the use of membrane-type tanks on cargo and passenger vessels. The ‘Höegh Target’, a Post-Panamax PCTC (Pure Car Truck Carrier) of the New Horizon class design developed by Deltamarin in close cooperation with the owner Höegh Autoliners, has again succeeded in boosting its reputation.
