Feasibility study of widening the hull of SSHT vessel including:

• Definition of hull form (extension parts + integration to existing hull)
• Hydrostatic, damage stability and freeboard checking
• Preliminary scantling calculations for extension parts
• Integration of piping systems in extension parts to the existing systems
• Arrangement drawing of new propulsion machinery spaces
• Comparison between existing design and new, widened, concept to find out what has to be modified in existing design
• Checking what impacts the conversion might have on ICE Class Notation

Customer Benefits:

• Deadweight increased by 25,000 t resulting in increased cargo capacity.
