After Deltamarin’s B.Delta37 best seller, available since 2008, it is time for us to set a new benchmark in the handysize bulk carrier sector and release the new reality of the bulk carrier fuel economy. Are you interested in finding out more about this groundbreaking design?
In the new improved B.Delta37 Mark II version a further 7% reduction in fuel consumption will be reached, while maintaining a maximized cargo carrying capacity. The highly versatile handymax cargo ship will satisfy even the EEDI Phase 3 requirements (2025 level), and it can be running on LNG as fuel or HFO through scrubber on board.
We are very proud to be again the first designer worldwide to release such an innovation in the market. The new further enhanced and efficient B.Delta37 Mark II design will be available after the SMM exhibition in September 2014. We expect – after the experience of more than 80 B.Delta37 ships – to set a new trend and attract the majority of the shipping interest to our new design. The close cooperation with customers and thorough development work enables us to meet the real needs of the industry.

The B.Delta – a new generation cargo vessel design of Deltamarin is one of the five nominees selected by the jury Ship Efficiency: The Event 2014 in London.

Thank you for your comment on our news about the B.Delta37 Mark II. By this date more than 120 vessels based on our B.Delta design have been ordered by 15 various shipowners. The first orders were placed in 2010.
