Deltamarin participates in Arctic module carrier design
Deltamarin Ltd provides Aker Arctic Technology Inc. with basic design services for two polar class heavy deck carriers. The ships are intended for carrying heavy project cargoes in large modules to Yamal LNG plant construction site on the Russian Yamal peninsula.

Deltamarin designs the Libra FPSO
Deltamarin Ltd proudly announces that it has entered into a contract with Jurong Shipyard Pte Ltd for the basic engineering of the Libra FPSO (floating production, storage and offloading unit). Deltamarin’s scope of work covers the marine part of the Navion Norvegia shuttle tanker conversion into the Libra FPSO.

Deltamarin expands its services into EPC
Deltamarin Ltd, the Finnish naval architecture and engineering company, has established a subsidiary to enlarge the scope of the group’s services. In order to serve the customers better, the new company Deltamarin Floating Construction Ltd will focus on delivering engineering, procurement, construction and installation solutions for the marine and offshore industry on turnkey basis.
Deltamarin participates in the design of the first LNG-powered icebreaker
Deltamarin has been awarded a contract by Arctech Helsinki Shipyard Inc. for the entire machinery and technical spaces outfitting production design of the very first LNG-powered icebreaker. The unique vessel is to be built for the Finnish Transport Agency, and aims to reduce emissions and fuel costs by using both diesel and LNG as fuel.
COSCO orders Deltamarin B.Deltas
The success of Deltamarin’s B.Delta37 continues as the first Chinese shipowner COSCO orders four 40,000 DWT Handymax bulk carriers at Tianjin Xingang shipyard in China.
Deltamarin designs world’s largest civilian hospital ship
Deltamarin proudly announces a design contract awarded by China Shipbuilding Industry Corporation (CSIC) for the new 37,000 GRT (Gross Register Tonnage) hospital ship to be built for Mercy Ships at Tianjin Xingang Shipyard.
